When a visitor enters the estate, Openitem Access Control immediately assigns them a verified profile based on the purpose of their visit.
In this case, the guest arrives as a golfer, scheduled to check in at the Pro Shop within a specific time window.
As the visitor drives through the gate, their licence plate, driver’s facial ID, or licence-disc scan is captured and synchronised to their golfer profile.
The system now knows exactly where this visitor is supposed to be — and by when.
Openitem starts a live countdown window linked to the guest’s visit purpose. If the golfer navigates directly to the Pro Shop, the system records successful arrival and the visit continues normally.
But if the prescribed arrival time expires, Openitem automatically raises a restricted-zone alert.
The system flags the visitor as either:
- Lost and outside the approved route, or
- Moving inside the estate under false pretences.
This alert appears instantly on the Security Dashboard with the visitor’s photo, vehicle details, entry time, intended destination, and last-seen location. At the same time, the visitor receives an SMS with a corrective link, and the resident who authorised the visit receives a push notification for accountability.
Security teams gain a real-time, GPS-backed understanding of where the visitor is and why the visit is now non-compliant — allowing them to intervene early, prevent misuse, and maintain the integrity of restricted areas.
Openitem ensures that purpose-based access is intelligent, trackable, and secure, keeping visitors on the correct route and protecting the estate from unauthorised movement.
