Impro PortalIntegration
The integration between OpenItem and Impro Access Portal is compatible with all available SKUs of Access Portal, this is enabled by the Library Application Programming Interface which allows OpenItem to achieve real-time two-way syncing. This outlines the basic flow of data between systems which can change based on the business rules.
Biometric Tags
Enrolment/syncing for IDEMIA/Morpho Sigma/Wave/VisionPass based devices.
Vehicle Sync
Details synced to and from Impro as well as the associated residence.
Broadcast Listener
Ability to monitor live Impro events and perform actions in real-time.
Remote Door Triggering
Ability to trigger/open a relay/door remotely by scanning a QR code in the Guard Access app.
Contact Sync
With flexible field mapping to/from Impro such as assigning residence from company or a custom field. Assigning access groups based on contact type, assigning type based on Impro department. Deactivation of tagholder based on contact expiry.
Visitor Sync
The ability to sync PINs as tags. Either pre-approved or exit-only codes, that are removed instantly after used. Flexible access group assignment based on visitor type or residence which is beneficial to those with many gates.

Our complete integration with Impro AP allows support for more access control options such as Gate Controller/Magic RFID tags or TMT facial units.
Differential Sync
Making use of the Impro Audit records, syncing changed or new records which is beneficial to those with a larger Access Portal implementation such as those with multi-site operations.
