On Boarding a new visitor or scheduling a frequent/regular visitor should be a seamless effective and secure process. Openitem now allows for prospective users to on-board via the scan of their identification documents, this includes, driver’s license, ZAR passport, green ID book and smart ID.
This process makes it easy for estate’s access control rooms/registration offices to manage and register users effectively and correctly. The user’s ID document is scanned and uploaded into the estate’s database. The identification is then automatically sent for home affairs lookup. Upon completion of this check-up the user is then assigned a role and in the case of a visitor’s schedule, allocated days and times of required access is captured. This on-boarding process integrates with most current software platforms.
