Dineplan is South Africa's restaurant reservation platform. Diners find restaurants near them, see live table availability and book instantly — on the web or through the free iPhone and Android app. The platform carries more than 2,000 restaurants, 545,000 registered users and over 17,500 bookings a day.
For the restaurant it is a reservation book rather than a listing: real-time availability, table management, menus and guest reviews in one place, so front of house is working from the same picture the diner booked against.
Clubs, hotels and estates run restaurants too, and a booking is often the reason a visitor arrives at the gate. Alongside the other Golf Club, Hotel and Hospitality integrations, Dineplan covers the dining side of the same guest journey Openitem Access Control manages at the entrance.
