Gate Pass/Permit allows visitors or staff members to enter/exit premises and record specified items to be delivered. Gate Pass ensures an extra layer of security, allowing visitors to enter or exit an estate (access control point) with specific approved goods.
The visitor will not be allowed to enter or exit without approval from the specific approval manager. A Gate permit request notifies the approval manager via a push notification with a request for an approval of entry or exit items via the Openitem app messages inbox function. Please note that approval notification will be send via email as well to approving managers.
Upon approval, the requester/visitor will receive a QR code and pin which will be scanned or redeemed at the gate. The access control point will grant access accordingly via the gate scanner.
